Overview

The story

I'm not a loyal customer who only shop grocery in a specific chain brand. Most likely, it depends on the location where I'm and the requirement. After comparative, I realize that some food such as meat and dairy that I can buy them at a lower price but better quality in H Mart, but the fruit that I always get the promotion at Kroger. This makes me indecisive in every weekly grocery shopping. Should I buy this here or leave it when I get chance to Publix? It is very hard to find a way to compare the price of grocery in daily life. Also, managing shopping list can be disturbing for me. Leave out some goods what I need to buy always happens. 

I want to choose a gift for my girlfriend on our anniversary day.  I started to pick the present one month earlier for that day to come. I find three option and waiting for the opportunity to order one of them. This becomes a worry for me to check a product's website whenever I think about it because I don't want to miss the discount before I run out of time. Even some website offer the subscribe function after you leave the email address to them and they will send you a notification once the product you want is on sale. I still cannot find a unified way to remind me of the newest discount information from the different site.

  • Grocery button in navigation makes user confused, based on the content and function of this button name it “category” probable clearly than “grocery”.

  • Specific information about location and price should be described in the item of the home page to help user easier to obtain information.

  • Adding another way to check the category of stuff under the wishlist. The title could be created a clickable button.

  • Subscription is not precise to describe the features. Alert should be more close.

  • Detail button under the picture of discount info is not necessary. Users will just tap the picture to enter next page read the specific information. Maybe set a quick “add to wishlist” button on the corner of the picture will help user easy to do this movement.

  • Depends on the traffic situation, can this app supply estimation time beside the distance information? Sometimes close doesn’t mean fast.

  • Expiry deadline of discount info should be mentioned on wishlist pages or home pages.

  • On grocery wishlist pages, giving users a calculated price of a different grocery store. Helping users compare the total price which place is cheaper.

  • Flip board on interested category selection page can provide more classification for users such as people, topic, event.

  • Recommendation info on the home interface should add a feature that people can choose which type of object they are interested in or not. Make sure they can gain more useful discount information when they browse the home interface next time.

  • The label below recommendation information picture can set more choice button such as share and add wishlist.

  • When user alerts discount info of target and adds to their wishlist, guiding users to set an expiry deadline notification. Make sure people will not miss the chance of getting such discounts and showing the available amount of product and relative location.

  • Perhaps changing the noun of the home button to sale or offer is more appropriate.

  • Pagination of wishlist is kind of confused. Not sure when I switch the screen will change the item of navigation or category of wishlist.

  • Adding a “clear” button on filter label can help user easy to wipe the selection of filter.
